Hi all, I finally got around to getting the CWD buck scored from last year and it was a silver!

Sooo close to gold, but it gives me the opportunity to find another one 😂

Some info regarding the roots after having some measured.
These still get measured but points not awarded for full enclosure. Animal went bronze

Congratulations. It's been a few years since I've had the opportunity to shoot a medal CWD, and my last one was awarded a gold by the CIC
But I managed one recently. I knew they were half decent, So, I decided to get them measured at the recent stalking show.
To my surprise, they were awarded a platinum (240+) by the British deer society. And yet the CIC would have awarded them a bronze. So, my question is why do we have two scoring systems?
And does one have more credibility than the other?
Cheers Will
