Hello. I’m based in Titusville Pennsylvania in the USA. I’m joining your forum because I enjoy deer hunting here on my own property. The type of deer hunting that is common here would I believe be called High Seat hunting on the continent. Here we call it stand hunting as we use elevated hunting stands. Our white tail deer season starts in late November so it is typically cold and snowy at that time here. Our stands are typically enclosed to help with the weather conditions. I’ve joined because I enjoy reading and sharing about hunting and rifles. My typical rifles I use are a Sauer 202 chambered in 30-06. And I’ve just recently taken delivery of an Anschutz 1782 chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. Both are in full left hand configuration. These rifles are far less common here in the states, so I’ve found more posts on them here. Happy to be part of your community and am anxious to share what I can about our hunting practices and my rifle.
