That must be against human rights act surly
Everyone has a right to life, so if someone comes back from a trip with Ebola or rabies and wants to wander around without treatment should they have the right to do that knowing they would infect and kill others?

I know this is likely aimed more at Covid or similar situations but likewise would you want someone with covid being able to go into a high vulnerability ward or carehome just because they don't think it's an issue?

I'm not saying I agree with this but it's not difficult to see some logic behind it due to how selfish a large proportion of society is today.

It's now pretty easy to lock people up for protesting and mildly inconveniencing road users and there is masses of support for that legislation on this site but wanting to stop people with an infectious disease or virus from spreading it and likely killing people is a step too far?

Frankly, yes.

stop people with an infectious disease or virus from spreading it and likely killing people

That is the sales pitch, no question.

The reality is that the wording does not require any empirical societal benefit to be demonstrated before an individual is forcibly vaccinated*, prevented from working, incarcerated quarantined.

This legislation would give the state M.O. the ability to suspend all the mechanisms of society [including court activity]. It is dystopian.

[*the recent round of pharma did not prevent infection or transmission - admitted by makers and governments - so by what argument would enforcing those mRNA jabs make sense?]

Neither did the lockdowns or mask wearing significantly impact on the outcomes either.

A strong reason to resist enforced vaccination: retrospective analysis shows last tranch of "vaccinations" lead to greater incidence of infection according to this Oxford Media published paper from Shresta et al:

Cleveland staff data is approx 51 000 participants.
