New application - calibres to apply for?

.22lr wants to be on there. Everyone ought to have one. Should be issued at birth, really.

You'll also want a .222 or a .22-250 for foxes.

Also a .270 for when you get fed up with everyone taking the **** out of you for having a 6.5 Creedmoor 🤣
Love this “should be issued at birth” 🤣

I have put a deposit down on a Seekins PH2 , just need to decide the optics………..the power of positive thinking!

The advice I am about to give has probably already been given but, if not and taking into account your post regarding rifle scopes - you might even want to consider two very similar calibres or even two 6.5 CM

Once you've been shooting a while you might want one set-up for the high-seat and longer ranges where a digital day/night scope would give you the edge. That oufit might be perfect for short walks and high seat but might not be ideal for three or four hours on foot, in which case a lighter rifle, possibly shorter barrel and lighter scope might be more desirable.

Therefore
1 x 6.5 CM, 24" heavy barrel with stock to match and a hefty digital day night scope
1 x 6.5 CM 20-22" medium weight barrel, carbon fibre/polycarbonate stock and lightweight rings with a 2-10 x 45 scope

Just a thought.
