New boots time

It’s that time again to replace my boots, currently on Meindl dorve extremes, worn near every day for last two years.
But the leather generally goes cracked after 12 months of wear.
What’s everyone else using as there everyday boots?
Need something that won’t disintegrate after 2 months!! And have hard wearing soles.

Looked at the Deditos, Crispi and Irish setter boots.

Thoughts and reviews would be appreciated 👍 and if there’s something I’ve not considered let me know.

Thanks

I’ve been using Zamberlan boots for the last 3 years. Still 100% waterproof. Slight cracks appearing in one pair in the leather. From hauling through brambles beating I reckon. The other pair ( bought the same year but an end of season sale) are still perfectly good. They’re a very comfortable boot, a bit heavy but they are boots.

I'm 18 months into my Crispi's. worn for around 60 hours a week. sole is smooth as a babies backside but 100% water tight and by far the comfiest boots i've ever had. pair them with some proper socks and they've been great.

i have always been a Meindl fan before this but they don;t seem to last as long. i do have some Dovre's and Bhutans at home still and a pair of Lowa that i use for shooting/stalking

Have both Gaitered Highland Pro boots and lace up leather Crispi boots. Been the best most comfortable boots I've ever had
Wasn't enjoying wearing boots whilst out on hill or steep terrain so had took to wearing wellies, but the Crispi's changed that!

Have a pair of Dedito Moorlands - now entering their third/fourth season of beating. Used for everything from moorland partridge, lowland pheasant and stalking. Can’t fault them, very comfortable, feet have always been dry and warm. Will be getting another pair when these ones die.

Do take a bit of breaking in though

Don’t be put off by the price.

These are great, comfortable, waterproof and hard wearing.

Get some brown Leder Gris for maintenance and they will keep in first class condition.

Not another fooooking boot thread!
😄
That said, been looking at wellies today and nearly spat my Bounty bar when the Swazi Rep' suggested I pay £200+ for a very 'average' looking and heavy pair of dubious parentage.

My last two pairs of Hunters were free courtesy of the Shooting Times "Letters To The Editor" page, early and mid 90's.

If you are looking for a pair of stalking boots, I can highly recommend these from John Norris Stalking boots I have had mine for over 18 months, they are comfortable out of the box, they are waterproof and the price compared with many is very reasonable.
