Having grown up on the North York Moors, I used to beat when i was younger and came back to shooting about 20 years ago. I am now based in County Durham and mostly involved in driven shooting and a pheasant syndicate, but tried stalking 10 years ago, completing my DSC1 and a butchery/carcass course. I normaly shoot with a 12b but have a 20b for walked-up, and .243. I have done a bit of stalking since then, mostly in North Yorks, Durham, and Northumberland as well as Scotland, but regard myself very much as a novice. I enjoy working dogs, and currently have just the 1 Labrador but expanding again next year if all goes to plan.
