Hello all.
Im located in Aylesbury Buckinghamshire. The wrong side of 50 years old too.
I've been shooting air, rimfire, fullbore since 16 years old.
Mostly farm pest control and now larger game.
Been a member of Bisley twice and looking to get back into some range work now the kids have grown up and I have more free time.
Ex Military (RAF Regt) fully expecting some grief because of that 😀.
Before I joined up i used to work in the gun trade in Abingdon Oxon for a couple of years.
Now i still work in defence but as a contractor.

Welcome. I'm now based in Austria but work in Aylesbury for 5 months of the year. I brought my rifle back to the UK last year, did some running boar training at the Corinium range and my usual annual CWD stalking just above Milton Keynes.

So you must be loving all the pot holes and HS2 traffic as much as I do then

My job is actually project manager for improvement schemes across Bucks 🤣🤣🤣 I've previously been an area manager for both High Wycombe and Amersham. To be fair though, the government funding for roads is usually about a 5th of what is actually needed, we currently average 2,500 potholes repaired each month but so many of the roads were never designed to carry the weight of traffic that they now do. I bring my bike back and cycle all over Bucks and Oxfordshire, and yes, it is a bloody bouncy nightmare.
