Hope you are all well.

I am very new to this and from Midlothian.

I am interested in starting deer stalking as a new hobby and think this is the best way to ask questions and get advice.

Does anywhere do a beginner courses or places that take people out before I apply for a gun licence? Also how hard it is it get a syndicate to shoot?

Any help would be great.

Take your DSC1 https://bds.org.uk/courses-training/recommended-deer-management-qualifications/
Take some paid outings.
Join a rifle club that accepts probationers.
