New member saying hello.

Been an enthusiastic shooter and all things shooting for 30 years. I mostly shoot vermin on my farm permissions, crows, pigeons, magpies and of course foxes. I am a member of a target club and I shoot .223, 308, 22LR, 17 HMR. 22 Air rirfles and 9mm Glock 17 and a Hamerli Xesse .22LR pistol. I reload all my centrefire ammunition. I cannot stalk deer as I live in Northern Ireland and have not yet obtained the DSC1 qualification which is required to get permission to own a stalking rifle, my 308 is for target use only, however I have made several trips to Scotland on stalking breaks. I am also a member of a game shooting club with over 300 acres of rough shooting available.
I enjoy all forms of shooting and try to get out as often as possible with a shot gun or rifle in my hand. My next purchase will be a 17 Hornet for long range small vermin.

Welcome Tikka shooter :D

What a bizarre world we live in, you have the benefit of pistols yet we, it would appear, have an easier life when it comes to deer stalking.

Dumfries and Galloway is probably easier for you guys to access than us on the mainland; is this where your stalking trips have been so far?
