I'm going to keep this short and simple I'm a fairly new stalker I shot for two years in new Zealand and it was more long range shooting on wallaby and fallow deer. best shots being 605 yards on a wallaby confirmed. and 400m on a fallow confirmed and cooked. 
now I'm home I'm lm looking to get back into it again.
I had a howa 1500 6.5x55 with a 3x9x40.love this caliber and wont change my mind its very predictable and controllable and great stopping power.
ive just done my deerstalkers with the basc.
so before I spend a small fortune I'm looking to get a few opinions on scopes and optics. and maybe find good quality second hand one.
