Hello everyone.
I've lurked the SD for a few years now and picked up a good few tips. I shoot in North Northumberland and the Scottish Borders, exclusively Roe with fox control thrown in. Also rough shooting, sometimes with family/friends, but mainly alone. I look after a few small private forestry blocks in the area for people we know.
I've been shooting deer for about 15 years, and I take 6-12 animals a year. I use a Ruger .243, with a cheap but functional Hawke scope, and I reload. My gear is not expensive - it gets used and abused in some hard upland hill stalking.
I have finally joined because I'm going to be making the move to copper ammunition at some point and need some more experienced advice, particularly to do with hand-loading copper ammunition.
Thanks. OWR.
