Hi, I started off rough shooting in my early teens with my dad and two labradors on a then local farm. Since then I’ve wildfowled on the Solway regularly ,been a member of a few pheasant syndicates and shot rabbits and foxes with my .22 and .222. I started stalking deer around 20 years ago taking around 6 to 8 roe yearly, half given away and half eaten at home. I am newly retired and as I enjoy outings with the rifle I intend to continue stalking after a move further North later this year. In preparation I hope to do my DSC1 and concentrate on gaining more knowledge to enable me to enjoy my stalking as much as possible. I have a Ruger #1 .243 ,Remington .222 re barrelled with a Benchmark match grade stainless barrel and a Model 52B Winchester .22lr commemorative rifle made by Miroku.

Welcome, where will you be moving in the North?

Thank you ,around half an hour to forty minute maximum radius from Ballachulish. Just started house hunting so probably as far North as Spean Bridge to as far South as Appin ideally ,to be handy for my elderly mother in law.
