I am a new member to the Stalking directory, but have been reading posts for the last year or so.
I am based in the Thurrock area of Essex and have been shooting shotguns and rifles for 40 years.
Apart from the occasional clay day and a bit of goose control, my shotguns don’t see much action these days
The majority of shooting now is pest control on local golf courses, sports grounds, poultry farms etc.
My current rifles are a Sako quad in .22LR and .17 HMR for rabbits and corvids, and a Sako S491 in .222 for foxes and the occasional Muntjac. The majority of my shooting is after dark with NV
