New to the site interested in stalking in the NW

Hi all, I’m relatively new to the shooting world having joined South West Lancs Pistol club in summer last year. I also shoot at altcar rifle ranges as often as I can. I’m interested in trying deer stalking and like to hear if the are opportunities to go stalking in the north west. I am currently waiting for my certificate to come through so would need to use an estate gun until my ticket comes through, I applied in October so hopefully not too much longer before I can get out and buy my own, hoping I can get a feel for stalking and decide the best rifle to buy
