New York Pheasant
pheasy breast with bbq sauce and melted mature cheddar!!
local gamey had some pheasants in his catchers the other day so offered em to me ......i kinda was expecting it coz i promised it make him pheasy jerky and he loves it
so got a heap to make jerky but the wife asked if i was using it all so i gave her 4 fillets or 2 whole pheasant breasts
sat down to my tea of new york pheasant with mash and steamed veg
AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

take yer pheasant breast and wrap in either smoked bacon or prosccuito or parma ham
cook in a oven on baking tray @ 180C to 200 C for 20 mins ish
then remove baste in bbq sauce and grated mature cheddar then stick under grill till melted
serve with mash and veg
or whatever floats yer boat
this was bloody ace

well in this case yes and of course that lovely invention, the deep freeze allows out of season game to be eaten whenever

aye its a dead easy but tasty bugger aint it ???:-D

also ijust a note to say that yesterday it was passed law and now legal for the practice of catching up pheasants for breeding stock outwith the actual shooting dates....this allows them to also humaely dispatch any that are carrying injury.....sooooo

last chance if your pally with a local keeper he may have one or two you can get now
