Thanks for accepting me onto this forum!
I live in the Forest of Dean and have worked seasonally on a farm every Christmas for a long time (helping out a friend of mine)
I see boar on the roads 3/4 times per week on my drive to/from work and have always wondered how I would be able to get out and hunt them!
To let you know what my plan is at the moment- I plan on buying a small van, a rifle and some night sights and then speaking to a few of the farmers around here to see if theyd be alright with me shooting the boar on their land.
Once shot, I really dont know how the process goes, I know there is someone who pays roughly £1/KG (or used to when I last spoke to him) for the meat so know I would be able to make some money doing it.
I am really on this forum to seek some advice/ learn from other users on how to make money shooting boar.
I know where they are ( I see them all the time ) and have the money to get a van, gun and all the equipment needed.
If there is anyone in the forest ( I wouldnt be interested in learning from cityfolk) that could have a chat with me, I would really appreciate it.
