For Sale: Next-Generation Lowa Tibet EVO GTX Boots

Hi Folks

As mentioned in the Equipment section, Lowa have finally released the new updated Lowa Tibet EVO GTX boots in mid-ankle and high-ankle options:

This is the new 2024 "EVO" version of the popular Tibet GTX boot.

The Tibet Evo GTX is designed as a tough mountain boot for heavy backpacking, rugged trails & demanding hunting environments. The Tibet Evo’s robust leather upper with minimal seams with a high rubber rand mean it’s designed for a life outdoors. However the Tibet isn’t a one trick pony: the new Vibram Apptrail Divo sole offers best in class under-foot cushioning as well as superb traction. The midsole is even stiff enough to handle a strap-on walking crampon in winter conditions. The dual zone lacing system and LOWA’s C4 tongue system give a secure fit but also out of the box comfort. Finally it goes without saying that they’re fully waterproof with a Gore-Tex performance lining.
  • 2-Zone Lacing - Independently adjustable lacing zones, one on the forefoot and one on the upper, for an improved individualized fit and better adjustments for personal comfort and different foot anatomy.
  • New improved "Flexfit" ankle comfort.
  • Patented Lowa locking lace cam hooks - to easily allow for the lower & upper areas of the foot to be tightened separately, allowing for a more precise lacing fit.
  • Roller eyelets - To ensure that the laces run flexibly and smoothly through the eyelets, small roller balls minimise friction in the metal loops and provide easy lacing.
  • Re-soleable.
  • Hand made in Germany.
  • Tibet's do not have the "Primoloft" insulation layer which is a feature of the Lowa Hunter boot.
  • 8" ankle height.
  • Sizes: 6.5 - 15

Just realized there were questions above that I didn't answer...

The Tibet EVO sole comfort spec is now the same as the Hunter EVO's, along with improved structure in the ankle area.

The difference between the Tibet Hi and the Lowa Hunter EVO is that the Tibet does not have the Primaloft insulation layer, the design and colour are also slightly different, the Tibet is a darker leather.

Tibet's have always flown under the radar compared to the Lowa Hunter, however they have a strong following by those "in the know" :thumb:

Hi All

Since the launch of the Tibet EVO range back in June they are steadily increasing in popularity and catching up with sales of the more recognized "Hunter" boot.

So, the word is out on how good they are - we can dispatch most sizes in time for Xmas :thumb:

Hi All

Over the last 2wks we have seen in increase in boot sales, so it looks like folk are gearing up for the cooler months with new kit.

Forum supported prices are still unchanged (however web-pricing may have to go up slightly in Q4).

Just pm for any sizing queries etc.

Thanks

Rob
