Night vision advice

Hello, been asked to look at a fox problem my neighbouring farmer has, night time will be the best approach I have a good quality hand held thermal,am I best to get a pard 007 or similar or just go old fashioned and lamp them?
Not wanting to spend too much as it’s not really my bag.

Get a lamp. There still very effective, I know 2 people who have gone from night vision back to a lamp. I still use one. Sniperhog will shine past what you can shoot at night.
There still very effective and a lamp works well with any scope too.

If you intend to have a scope mounted torch then look at Ludicrous lumens torch mounts. They are extremely well made and perfect for the job.

Hello, This is the red Torch i used on a small sheep farm lambing time, Ludicrous Lumins Night Sabre, with a figure 8 torch clamp, Although there are some good second hand deals in Night Vision scopes, If you only out at night then a Yukon Photon is also what i used
