night vision scope recommendations

Still a lot to be said for supporting your local rfd.... hands on the product & somewhere to go rather than endlessly waiting on phone/email.

I think you'll find that Customs in Castle Donnington is the black hoe where all the Arken Zulus are to be found :)
Apparently they pulled one scope from the previous shipment and sent it for CE testing which meant that nothing was released until it had come back with a report saying that it complied.

Cheers

Bruce
Let's hope it passes the testing and complies then. Having said that I got this message when I ordered mine yesterday
"We're getting your order ready to be shipped. We will notify you when it has been sent." That implies they are already with Pro Optics. 🤞

doubtful, i got that over a week ago, as someone said, all the ones on there way to pro optics are probably all spoken for,
but hope im wrong

The best way to keep up with what's happening to orders for the Zulus scopes is over on the Airgun forum where Adam from pro Optics posts updates on orders
A lot of people who ordered in October are getting e mails today with Royal Mail tracking numbers telling them their scopes are on their way to their forever homes :)

Cheers

just read through a fair few of the 58 pages of that, all sound very complicated to a simpleton like me  hittac, zulus, pro optics, yorkyboy,Adam, iv no idea whats going on, cant wait for mine to turn up, but no mad rush, it is what it is 👍

delivered today to somewhere called Upminster, received by Yang at a residential, that doesnt sound good seen as pro optics, yorkyboy, adam is supposed to be from york, so from castle Donnington to London which is further away from me in leeds.

now got tracking number, RM say it will be here tomorrow, ordered 4/11/23, i hear some people have ordered from pro optics beginning of October :)
Exciting times waiting for new toy 😁 Out of interest did you go for LRF model or standard?

I'm considering one for my .223 and non LRF is £140 cheaper - my fox shooting is normally within 180m 🤔

Re the ordering and delivery situation, I had an e mail from one of the main men at Arken in China today, asking me to correct an earlier post I made on this subject
If you order from the Pro Optics website (Arken Optics Zulus HD 5-20X Digital Day Night Vision Scope With Laser)
You will be buying from the UK importer and benefit from all the legal rights that comes with buying from a UK seller
If you buy direct from the Arken website ( Arken Optics UK - Digital Night Vision & Optics Scope Brand - UK Store) you buying directly from Arken in China
They do keep a small stock in the UK so you may receive it from that stock via Royal mail, but they also ship direct to the buyer from China

Cheers

Bruce, am I correct in thinking that it's only the LRF/BC version currently available from the UK importer? I know there's a thread on AGF but it's into over 60 pages now and all becoming a little confusing.
