Wanted: Old style IR laser illuminator

Looking for some help please gents as I'm after an older type laser IR illuminator like the Dipol L3 or a Nayvis with the adjustable head if anyone has one they're not using anymore?

Tried looking online but can't seem to find anything in stock anywhere, will give Clive a shout in case he has some old stock

It's for my son who's wanting to start coming out night time shooting with me so i'm going to pair it up with an old cobra gen1 that i've got but don't have a decent illuminator for, have got a spare torch but it's too big and bulky for him to carry about and adds too much weight, also fancy just getting back to a bit of old school rabbiting with it my old cobra

Hello, Does it have to be a Laser type ?? how far you shooting? I find LED I/R torches better to around 80 yards , That is what i used with Gen 1 N/V

Morning mate, not sure which one that is but will probably do the job, looks like it has an adjustable head too, how much are you wanting for it?

too big and bulky with no mount, the cobra has a tripod threaded socket on it for the illuminator to attach too, otherwise i'd have to start looking for scope mounts etc, the old laser illuminators just screw on so would work better

Yeah i'd prefer a laser as that's what i'm used to and you can get more light from a laser at distance for when he uses the HMR or steps up to a centre fire

Hello, Ok, Well good luck in your search, If you cannot find a Dipol or Nayvis, there are good alternatives, Night Blaster VCSEL , Ludicrous Lumins do a Night Sabre Wraith ESL VCSEL with good reviews, I have a Night Sabre torch in Red and has been a very good torch for ratting
