Thanks for all the advice. I went with that L61R AV. It’s not H&H, but looks very clean, and no heavier than a new 85 in wood. A new SS/synthetic would’ve made a lot of sense, but I don’t think I would’ve ever looked forward to using it, which is important when you’re just a punter. And all for less than a second hand tikka!
