As above please gents Good and bad ,after driving everything in the double cab market at the weekend this is sitting very high in my shortlist if there are any cons please let me know before I sign on the dotted line.
Model I am looking at is the Limited 2 in 2.2ltr

I have seen and heard only good on the old model but the new offering looks a bit too Chris Eubank for me..

you can try mine out anytime feller ranger wildtrack 3lt with commerial road tax and insurance good bus the VW prob has the better back up and the great wall is a nice copy of the ford but with a galvo chass and a good standard equipment and tyers for 17k ?.
also like the shooting great wall with the blacked out grills etc and gun box and deck to the pick up base as standard

Good reliable motors, the one I drive is the older model but it has been faultless in the 5 years I've driven it. It has 65000 on the clock pulls a trailer every day. It has only had tyres and springs replaced, oh and one UJ. fuel economy can be mixed with them but I think that is down to how you drive them. I certainly would buy one if I had the cash

oh the one thing was the brakes took some time to get use to,so no rushing up to corners they arn't a range rover, also corners they are a tad happy to come round and say hello in the wet but i like that :norty: , service will be no problems with your pal up northwest , cam belt at 70 k pulleys and tenion 200k mine is fully sin on the oils so keep away from main dealers unless its new . and fine a mesh behind the bumper and grill will save you a few bob when on a rape field stubble  bloody lances !! also the lock stops keep em wet as it a big give away when turning on uneven ground !!

one last thing if you wish to turn it into a wildtrack i have the full buck top fittings and armedillo lockable cover sitting up the shed

Can you swap between 2wd and 4wd on the fly in the new ones? You cant in my mates older one, a right pain in the proverbial...

Buy the vw amarok, had mine 2 years now and had a 09 plate ranger before that best thing I did was getting rid of it,amarok has been faultless and it's abused everyday on and off road!

Have a look at the Isuzu D Max , ive just done a 1300 mile round trip , 3 guys and all our stalking clobber for a week . Total fuel cost was £240 .. After years of the green oval parked on the drive i wont go back .

pass never try'd it , i look at the track i'am on and see if i need 4x4H /L as i pull of the hard stand one thing its very grabbie in 4x4 with the right tyres you can get out of a mess mines been in some deep water as well i just trap and drop an old plastic tarp over the grill and bumper and go snow same again but this is essex lol. been up some slopes and pulled out some posh motors with rubber bands as 4x4 tyres  heated seats full electric pack 1500 watt inverter 240v power who needs a mobile home
better than the nissan hands down no back pain any more .life is good  saying that the vw amarok or the great wall shooting set up has has got my eye :norty: but at the end of the day is it a gun bus and blood transporter or a holiday motor weekender you need think i know the A, to that one ! and he has one big bloody dog  he's no 5 ft guy as well .

I looked at both these trucks , the hi lux in 3tr put me off as a bit thirsty .This truck was to replace a disco 3 so mpg was my main concern .
I have to say the Isuzu was my choice and no regrets .

hi feller sent you a pm mine 08 and is a mk 3/4 2006 to 2012 is the shape of mine not just the armadillo can be fitted as mine has the tie rails as part of the frame so all parts need fitting .
it will fit any of the d cabs up to 2012 then the late new 2012-13 are not the same the new one is a T6 armadillo as per said maker . if you wish just the cover then this is not for you boss
look on the net for my ranger and you can see the shape and deck:tiphat:

Paul'o is the armadillo for the new ranger.
