Good morning all

I hope you had a good weekend,

Is the PARD DS35 a decent NV unit (gen1)or is it worth investing in the Nightstalker 2.0 4k Pro or going for the HIK Alpex 4k,

What are these units like to use in the field i'd like to hear of your experiences, I've been watching reviews of the DS35 gen 1 and ones of the Alpex and what I could from the Nightstalker 4k pro

Which would you recommend from your experience

If the DS35/70 has the laser illumination then they work very well. I’ve still got one as well as a DS37/70 the only difference being the daylight image is better on the DS37.

I haven’t used any later models as at this time I don’t feel the technology updates have been significant enough to improve image quality. You may find twilight image better in some of the other options but they tend to be much heavier and larger optics.

Yeah 👍 the DS35's I've found at a couple of rfds have the laser illumination,

That's something I picked up from Chris Parkins review he did a couple years ago in relation to daylight image really good,

I believe the Alpex 4k you gain like 10-15?mins more over the PARD during Dusk and that the PARD is lighter unit.

The eye relief seems to be far better on the PARD DS35 and nightstalker units than it's rivals from what I've read up on
