Further to my earlier post on the loss of the OKCAM app for transferring PARD footage to IPAD/Fones - my friend and some of his elderly pals have had problems transferring footage from their Pard to Ipad etc., so in the spirit of friendship and especially for the hard of thinking, I offer the following:-
Pard 008P - video transfer
1. Ipad - install OKCAM Plus app. - open app then minimise (next instructions are also on screen);
2. PARD - Enter dropdown menu - Select Wifi (page2) then select “on” - check green wifi light comes on in bottom l/h corner;
3. Ipad - open Settings - select Wifi - Select Pard - wait a second til Pard connects (ignore “no internet” msg);
4. Ipad - reopen OKCam Plus app screen - Select Folders (or camera/video if u want to see what the Pard is seeing live). A list of your videos will appear with a green arrowhead on rhs of screen - Select each item to download to Ipad (n.b. It only does one at a time) - repeat as required, each video will be kept on the Pard memory card and installed on your Ipad Photos (Recent or Library Albums) and can be kept/deleted as you wish;
5. Ipad - open “Photos”, select Recent or Library - the chosen videos should now be there and u can marvel at just how clever u really are!!
PS
This is the stage where you discover that on at least one occasion you really did forget to stop recording so you will now have the opportunity of seeing practically nothing but hearing plenty - for several hours. My, how you will laugh! Ha, ha, ha….!
6. Ipad - Close OKCAMPlus app - open Settings and check your ipad has returned to your chosen internet (should be automatic).
Pour strong drink and relax.
