parker hale stock replacement?

anyone know where i could get a replacement stock for my parker hale .270 , im wanting to get a synthetic stock for it , bit of a face lift , anyone got any idea where or who to contact for this?

Bell & Carlson make a synthetic stock called the Carbelite for M98 actions. You'll probably have to fettle the bolt notch with a Dremel because of the huge variation in bolt handles. Midway UK stock them in various colours for around £200.

u got a link for them , found the site but i couldnt find the stock you were talking about , have you tried this stalk before on a parker hale?

I got a Boyds thumbhole stock for my interarms mauser in .308. Took 3 weeks to arrive and cost me £129 delivered. It was semi inlet and took me about 2 hours to make it fit. A bit of devcon to bed the screws. And job done. Money well spent. Got them on all my rifles (5) now.

I have three of B+C`s and they are a ripping stock especially compared to the pricing of the Mac`s etc. My 358 Norma Mag wears one and its a ferocious kicker compared to 270`s etc.

I see priced at $99 at the moment.

They do some garish colour schemes so they should suit some here. Me I prefer more traditional stocks.

​ I recall Bruce Potts raving on about thumbhole stocks long before he got into print. That must have been about 1988 or there abouts. He got one to go on the custom 22/250 he was playing with at the time. Christ i just remembered this predates even his film "A year in the Life of a Roe Deer"
