Pictures wanted

Hi folks the deer stalking fair is looking for some pictures to use in some of our advertising flyers ETC.

So we thought a bit of a competition . The pictures can be any one of the 6 species of deer found in the UK male or female, live deer only please no dead trophy shots (don't want to upset the tree huggers)

There will be a good bottle of malt for the winners and tickets to the fair for the runners up and we will pay the going rate for any picture used.

We are looking for unusual it dose not have to be a big stag during the rut (all though that would be nice) but a wee roe doe in the snow might win.

Theres hundreds in the photo section and Deer in general and their antlers...

Why not pm the guys with the ones you like.

With so many to choose from including all species.

How about deer that are dead but appear not having scrubbed up nicely in their post shot makeover and images that simply capture the essence/mood of deer stalking with neither live nor dead ungulates in frame?

You're not the BDS so why the need to conceal the actuality of Deer Stalking mindful the Fair will be crammed to the rafters with the cuttingedge implements of death and disembowelment?

Happy of course to respect any policy that precludes images of US hunters with their diseased carrying Cabela's boots on show!

I simply asked for photos of deer. Live ones. Should we need any photos of dead deer/trophies at some point then we will ensure a post is put up asking for that.

Just a thought, but if you'd like photos of deer that have been knocked down by cars or trapped in fences let me know.

Not live deer I know, but sometimes highlighting to the public the other ways that deer can perish helps to explain why deer management is important.

Otherwise it can seem like all deer stalkers are interested in is shooting deer......

sorry they all end up this way if they stand still for me as i am quicker with the trigger than the camera and i cant eat pictures
ill leave that to david baily and the bunny lovers

Thanks for all the pictures I will close in now as its going to take forever to go through them all.

Upside down fallow, very rare
