Today was the real start of it all here in the glen - All day skeins of pinkfoot geese flying down the glen just below the low cloud at about 1000ft. "WINK WINK" calls as they went past on their way down to the coast where they stop off for a day or two to rest after coming in from Iceland / Greenland before pushing on south.
Then this evening with no warning the reds all started hollering. Their roars echoing round the hills. ---- Now I know why I moved here!
