possibly best budget NV combo

i have been testing my pard nv007 on a lot of scopes and keep coming back to lpvo, the 1x plus the pards own magnification gives great FoV and at 6x you can shoot anything within reasonable range for a rimfire ( again with the pards own extra magnification,)

problem is everything is out of focus...

well i have found it!

the discovery optics EDAR 1-6 lpvo with side focus. 158 euro on their website, not great glass but tough enough and just a match made in heaven for the pard.

Is this scope available only as ffp, or also as sfp?

Cheers

Have you found any diferences when using ffp scope with rear add ons?
yes, but for my purposes nothing significant. It behaves as a FFP, nothing radically different from having the add on other than it obscures the target more. But they offer prettt nice reticles so in this case i cant complain. Just ordered the 1-8x24FFP with the christmas tree reticle in Mil for my 223, cost a whopping 199 euro. Il have to test if the add on affects the reticle scale but i dont think it will since it enlarges the entire sight picture at the same rate.

Really when it comes down to it getting side focus on a value LPVO should seal the deal already considering the massive FoV boost you get with the add on. At least to me having that 1x magnification + side focus is worth its weight in gold.

As for regular daytime use. Not gonna shill for them, its about vector constantine quality. Perfectly usable but dont expect too mutch.

Personally i found that if anything my premium scopes performed WORSE with the add on. I did reqd somewhere that some premium coatings can mess with infra red.

Would you put it on 308?
I really don't know this brand and how resistant it is to recoil.
I am thinking to pair 308 rifle with driven hunt rifle scope 1-8x24 and than use it with some kind of night shooting add on.
Either thermal front add on or digital rear add on.
Thermal is very good, but sometimes I just need details of digital NV, for pre-shoot identification.

All the best with your hunting.

I would, their scopes are sometimes sold as package deals with 308 rifles. I would put them in the Vector constantine class.
