Primers not seating properly? Help!

As above, the two on the left (Black Hills and Hornady) are very clearly crimped.

The Hornady or Lyman primer poclet reaming bits work well enough or the RCBS primer pocket swager 2 die based system.

Having used several hundred Lake City converted cases with crimped pockets I'd simply advise spending a bit of money and getting some better quality Starline cases from either Kranks or Hannams.

Have bought one of these to give it a go. I did have a try with the normal chamfering and de burring tool but didn't seem to make a difference. Thanks for all the help. Its weird that all the brass I have appears to be crimped. I have some adi factory ammo so I'll shoot three today and see what difference there is if any, with that brass.

Thank for all the suggestions. Bought a cheap reaming tool and sure enough, the black hills had a bit of a crimp, the Hornady was just inconsistent ( I think) and the Winchester appears to be fine but just quite a tight fit. The adi cases that I cleaned up worked fine without any reaming. Good to know you can ask for help 🙂
