properly waterproof well made Boots .??

I've been wearing them for a very long time too. Expensive but worth it.
Just had a quick look on their site. They are expensive but as you say if you’re getting years out of them it’s not as bad. Problem is there’s so much choice. I like to try a boot on before I buy it ti make sure it’s comfortable ect. May have to try and find a local stockist

Every day? That's what I wonder about these boots that last for years.
On building sites, a new pair of boots used to last me about 4 months before they split open along the sides.
No I don’t think so he uses them for his stalking alone so probably a few times a week ect but still for several years that’s pretty impressive.

I use Aigle parcours iso boots

They are expensive but a pair lasts me a year and a half

I wear them 365 days a year

This latest pair I've been wearing about 3 weeks - they don't seem quite the quality they once were - we will see

I have found both Altbergs and Lunghags to be brilliant for daily use. Lunghags definitely better quality and long lasting. Sadly I can't use either now due to foot issues. Now using Birkenstock boots. They are comfortable but not waterproof in any way at all, no matter how much I wax them.

I would defiantly go for Lunghags if they still worked for me. They are superb and the ones without a waterproof liner are still 100% waterproof in my experience and are very comfortable. I had the park boots and I think the forest. Very wide fitting though.
