In there together position they are great as a hil stick and i use them for that what i would not do is open them and hang a deer to drain from them i split them so while they are strong they have their limitations lol
Mine have just saved me from a real dunking , 16stone landed on them as i crossed a stream a slight creak was all i heard .

Still got my hardwood ones as backup but dont want to take them out of the glass case lol

Tony i was out today and took a nice doe off your sticks sadly they are the old ones and the new ones are still very new. I have them in the shed weathering and will be out with them on monday weather permitting.
These are with out doubt the best you have made.

Ash hardwood sticks are £85 delivered, choice of stain and or teak oil. Personally I like the English oak stain with teak oil over, really brings the grain out.

Tony, made that slight adjustment you mentioned when I collected, also linseed oiled mine, extra good looking now over the oak staining. had a little practice, getting easier all the time. Steve.

Arrived today. Thank you. Easy to use after I practiced on a Rubiks Cube!

Tony, I will get back to you regards your query to me but it will not be this year.

Used the sticks last night for the first time in anger - result 1 dead fox. I am more than happy with how they work and each time I get them out they get easier to use

Gentlemen

up to now ive been sending out the quad sticks in strong cardboard tubes which ive been getting from the local carpet suppliers very cheaply.
I can continue to supply in these tubes but supplies are erratic and sometimes delay my sending sticks out.
However, I also realise it would be nice to have a tube that you could keep the sticks in when not in use that double up as a postage tube?

Ive sourced some tubes that have screw caps on each end but they cost £7.00 so heres the plan.

On request for an extra 7.00 you get your sticks in a robust black screw capped tube (its 50mm waste pipe with solvent weld screw caps that I afix in place, you can get them yourself from any plumbing centre)
These are at cost.

Tony

Ladies and gents

Last date for orders to arrive before Christmas is 16th December.
The rep from the delivery company I use visited me and says they can guarentee delivery before Christmas for packages sent out by the 20th, I dont believe him however as his lips were moving so I know he was lying.
