I have a Sako A2 and I'm looking to fit a rearward extended picatinny rail onto it. It's a 7mm-08Rem and I know the distance between bases is 74mm, so it requires size Short. (Rail that fits is the same as it is for an 85 model Sako in Short)
My question is however, will a rearward extended picatinny rail interfere with the bolt throw/bolt action?
It's a high bolt throw on the A2 and I can't tell quite by eye, before purchasing said rail, if it would just clash?
Has anyone tried/does anyone have one fitted?
