Opinions.. what trophy is this? My girlfriends grandfather wandered many mountains and found this beautiful piece on one, but where did it originate from?
He definately did not "pick that up" on a mountain, deer shed their antlers but without leaving them attached to the skull, if he wasnt a stalker he prob bought this in a second hand shop , and yes sure its a young Red

reminds of that old tv add with grandad telling the grandson about when he conquered Mt Everest,, the young'n says "but grandad didn't sir Edmund Hilary conquer Mt Everest??"
grandad replies,,, "he was with us son,, he was with us"

Gutted for you sir, he did pick it up. A straight on wanderer and lover of the Scottish mountains not into his hunting found it on one of his climbs. So yes he certainly most did just “pick that up.”
