Hi Guys, I had a Sako 85 synthetic stock hydro dipped a while back as the stock went "sticky." It was dipped in a Matt carbon fibre pattern and came out very well. The company that dipped the stock, masked up the rubber grip panels before dipping, this has left a slight residue on the rubber grip panels. Prior to dipping, the rubber overmoulded stock finish was carefully stripped off using cellulose thinners, this had no effect on the rubber grip panels.
I was looking for something to clean the grip panels with which is less harsh. I was thinking about Acetone maybe, are there different strengths available or could anybody possibly recommend an alternative.
Many thanks.
