Reds and Home made Kit....

Was asked to trim up some Reds on a place I have been to pre covid also this time I have installed a small unit made a internal frame and have my hangers (Thank God) as they would just not fit hanging by the hocks. It is a bit of a drive so one is enough to cleaned out and on the road.

Weights after 4 days 96 94 kg which over time I have noted they loose 3-4kg with the unit sitting.

yus. 🤣🤣. couldn’t agree more - bones are knackered and creaky but fortunately the heart and mind are still working and keen as mustard in my weary eyes i’m still a winner 🤣🤣🤣 but don’t ask Marg for an opinion - she’s retired you know 🤣🤣🤣

old chinese proverb grasshopper

always shoot red deer uphill not downhill and have a decent winch on yer truck 🤣🤣🤣

Surely, if it's a bit of a drive, you should be making the most of it and taking a few? It's going to take a long time to make any real difference to the herd by taking the odd youngster. It's been said plenty of times that this is the very reason why deer numbers are out of control.
Surely it’s down to the individual what they do on their ground working with the conditions they face? And also what’s to say others hung around long enough for a shot? Why judge? What’s the point?

Jesus Christ... don't you just love it when a nice thread turns into a bun fight :gheyfight: there are bigger things to worry about... like why I missed a fox tonight
obviously you need a pard 008 🤣🤣🤣 to up your game 🤣🤣 consider the 007v 👍no missed foxes

I'm using the jolly good Pard 007 with a Delta Titanium in front of it... my excuse is that I had been "walking & stalking" for two hours and snatched the shot.... completely buggered up the run of good fortune with the plastic fantastic Tikka .223... I've not missed anything with it in months :scared:

yep Got the 007 on 3 calibres on hawkes with a decent Ir brilliant bit of kit

any other photos of the first one that was shot tim? sort of an interesting head on it.

The thread is about Tim's method of extraction . As far as I'm aware he's not employed as a slaughter-man or given cull targets , so why are you going out of your way to spoil this thread ?
If you're just looking to get his attention , DM him and ask him on a date, ffs !
Nothing wrong in comments and thoughts on something BUT
Yep there does seem to be more of thread spoilers than enjoyers on the SD recently, sign of the times in some quarters, of late some of the regular contributors have ceased putting what they’ve achieved up on here for like minded people to enjoy due to adverse comments, my thoughts are “ if you cant say something constructive or even near nice “ keep the gob shut, it doesn’t count on here it seems by some, most people enjoy topics placed on here, it wouldnt be the same without input doesnt need to be spoilt

Sadly , it's becoming all to common and detracts from the enjoyment of SD .

Hats off to those who keep the good stuff coming .👍
