Remington 700 Aftermarket Trigger Advice

Midway has or had the Timeny Calvin trigger I have in my 700 5R 260 REM on sale so I bought another for my recently barreled 6mm-06 . And day before yesterday I bought a third to have on hand for when I finally acquire another 700 BDL Varmint Special in 222 and or 243 . I find myself becoming quite intrested (again) in light recoiling heavy barrel guns mostly for punching holes in paper at 100 and 200 yards . The triggers I now have three of are adjustable from 8 ounces to 3 1/2 pounds . I kinda think they just might go a skoosh below 8 ounces and we may very well find out soon !

I have a Remington 700 SPS Varmint also in 223. You can adjust the XMark Pro Trigger - I have adjusted mine and got a nice crisp and light trigger pull that's on a par with the Timney that's on one of my other rifles. Before spending money have a look at:
