This may seem a daft question,but on a renewal of firearm cert,do you have to have 2 referees as on the original first apllication.
Any help greatly appreiciated,Tony.

The application for a renewal is exactly the same as for a grant, the only difference i believe is that it does not cost as much.

That's right you still do it as if we're a first application although this time you add any rifles etc in your possession . Scotland's finest have had mine in for over 5 weeks now but my interview is tomorrow morning so I'm starting to get there now .

Mine is due on March and if it's anything like my father's recent renewal, it promises to be bloody awful. Best advice is to get the paperwork submitted early.
