Which is the better of the two Ballistic or TDS reticule (swaro) ?

Both reticles are suited to their purpose, Ballistic matched to loads, TDS more of a range estimation,............ reticules ............ don't know about those, don't have a handbag!

IMHO, the TDS is better, although it depends how much range holdover you want as you obviously have more lines in the BR reticle. In addition to range, the TDS is designed to assist with compensating for 5,10 and 20 mph crosswind. http://www.sportoptics.com/SpecSheets/TDS_brochure207_web.pdf

Ah!! light Humour!! You cant really beat a hands on approach ( others experiences etc.)

I've had a Swaro 6-24x50 with TDS ret and currently use a Z6 3-18x50 with BR ret, and I much prefer the BR.
I find it much finer, and therefore more precise, and the even 1/2 mil spacing between the holdover points more useful.
