Rifle bolt holster

None. The best place for your rifle bolt is either in your rifle or in your gun cabinet. That way you've less chance to lose it. If you are concerned about carrying an empty rifle with a closed bolt buy a flag and carry the rifle with the bolt open and te flag in the breech. If you are concerned about the rifle with its bolt being stolen whilst you are our and about....then stay at home. Or make sure that you rifle stays with you.

Iv used a bolt holster for over ten years as I use a rifle daily and in and out of the truck all day I’m simply adding to the security I already have in the truck, what works for you may not work for me and visaversa. I don’t need sarcasm or smart answers just a recommendation of a factory made one as mine was made by a friend.

I don’t take my bolts out of my rifles except as added security when traveling.
I actually made my own some veg tan leather and a bit of patience it’s not that bad to do.
Which reminds me I have another two to make

I’ve got a Napier one, £10-15 if I remember correctly.
Does the trick fine - I mean it holds the bolt, protects it and attaches it to my belt! Not the prettiest thing if you’re after something smart and leather or whatever but that doesn’t bother me!

I have a Napier one as well it is a fetching shade of terracotta Cordura...the only one I could find for a Blaser tuning fork bolt. Seems to do its job okay.

A few years ago but around a tenner I think.

I've got a leather RADAR one. Paid about £20 I think. Works fine for my long action Tikka bolt. I use it for travel primarily, just a bit of extra peace of mind if you need to stop at services for a pee or whatever.

Got 1 x homemade from an old seat cushion and 1 x Mel b3 made by his Mrs Lin .Leicestershire made taking the bolts out a "condition" this renewal at home and fair do,s its no stress .When i go on paid stalks ,bolt in holster with me as motorway services have public people knocking about and rifle is locked away with trigger guard too atb

I found mine (a nice leather one) on Ebay......

I have one in leather that a friend made for me , have never used it probably never will, but it was a gift and I appreciate
the time and work that went into making it and it will kept for that reason.

To avoid confusion at silly o’clock, ive colour coded my calibres

Found the LED lenser cases perfect for rimfire bolts.

Tend to go out in the unsociable hours, so for peace of mind always carry my bolt on my belt.

I made this one in a couple of hours,3mm hide and held with a brass stud, hand seen with natural gut thread.
