after some help, I have some problems with my shoulders that makes carrying the rifle very painful. does anyone know of a sling or a harness that will help spread the weight. I have been looking at the corral gunslinger as a possibility. has anyone any suggestions. thanks

I use a TAB Gear Biathlon sling, I suffer with a bad back and find it amazing.
I think it would be ideal for you as the straps are good and wide(about 4") and padded, as long as you dont mind canvas over leather! For absolute comfort its also better to have the swivels on the side of the stock and forend so the rifle can lie flat on your back. I wouldn't use anything else now! They are about £60.

Maybe have a think about the rucksack style carriers - like the Harkila Rocky or Mountain Bag. The backbone Firearm Rucksack at Bushwear looks great, but expensive. Niggeloh rucksling is great, but the straps could be a little wider IMO - they can get a little uncomfortable after a long carry - but not so bad when padded up with winter clothing etc.
thanks for the replies, I already have the niggeloh backpack sling and to be honest it is better but not great. im off for more scans in a few weeks to get a diagnosis, but it looks like I,m gonna have to go under the knife so that will be the end of my stalking for a good while
