Who was it that proposed just crashing about in the undergrowth to simulate a frisky out of his territory buck?

Interestingly I dropped my Nordic roe call last night and had to thrash about in the long grass to find it, ripping out a biggish section and making a fair racket. Once I’d finished there was a buck about 50m away watching. So the call worked but not in the way I’d expected
