Roe doe before the rut

I spooked this roe doe as I was walking along the track this morning.

Returning 30 minutes or so later, the doe had settled down and was slowly moving towards me.

I was hidden behind a post and rail fence, and the long grass meant that the dogs were out of sight. The doe, however, got more and more inquisitive, allowing me to capture some good shots as she came ever closer.

Excellent stuff Dom.
There`s so much more to shooting a Deer with a rifle and that`s appreciating them with a camera.
