Wanted: Roe sack - what have you got?

Looking into getting a roe sack for places where vehicle access is not permitted.

Do you have anything sitting in the cupboard that you’d be happy to sell on?

Thanks in advance

Sounds like you are on the hunt for a bargain but if you can't find what you're looking for second hand I'd strongly recommend investing in the compact roesack from Phil Ogden + the optional braces. I think it's a game changer and wouldn't be without mine.
Was hoping to see one today at the shooting show but they weren’t there. That’s the one I have at number one spot but wanted alternatives to consider.
What are the optional braces? I can’t see them on the website.

Phil sells these separately - although you could just use a regular set of clip-on ones. It means you can keep the belt round your middle comfortably loose without risking everything slipping down over your arse. Set up like this you won't even be aware that you're wearing it. I find the two side pockets are absolutely brilliant for storing gambrel, gloves, range finder etc. And the removable washable liner inside the sack itself is really well made and works like a charm.

Nothing to sell but depends on whether you want a belt type system like the apex predator or shoulder strap sack like monarch ogdens. Personally don't like belt type as stops air flow movement but! I have the monarch ogdens roe and also sika sacks, both are superb

You could do a lot worse than a PLCE short back bergen, less side pouches.
2nd hand, these are plentiful and are designed to carry a heavy load comfortably. Internal frame, big central cavity that you can line with a canoe bag or black bin bags (this is what I do, so you can avoid coating the inside with blood/fur/ticks).
Plus, the top flap and bottom external pouches can take a water bottle, wipes, block and tackle etc.

Phil supplies them with an additional strap that goes across your chest but I took this off as I wasn't using it.

Thanks Jason how much did Phil charge for them ?
🙏
£20 incl. the postage. I expect if you bought them with the sack it might be cheaper. The braces clip on at the back to eyes that are already on the belt. I think it would be better if there were similar eyes on the front or more simple loops through which you could thread each side of the belt. The pinch clips at the front are a bit over engineered.... But I am splitting hairs. It's a great bit of kit. I wouldn't be without it. It allows you to carry everything you need into the field effortlessly.

I still have this one for sale
