Well you can either kneel at the top of the ladder and pee out the door, or keep a small pot with a proper fitting lid in the tent for the purpose. So, how do you deal with bladder issues when using one of these roof tents?
Pretty sure my missus doesn’t want to kneel at the door.Well you can either kneel at the top of the ladder and pee out the door, or keep a small pot with a proper fitting lid in the tent for the purpose.
Neither does mine.Pretty sure my missus doesn’t want to kneel at the door.![]()
Thought about a soft one, but where i will be going i don't want to risk it getting shredded.Personally, I wouldn't go for a hard shell version. A soft shell will give you a lot more tent for your money.
(But if you do go soft shell, get one with straps to hold the cover on, not zips).
Very pleased with mine. One of the best (and most fun) bits of kit I've ever bought.

What website you use if direct from China if don't mind me askingI spent about 6 months looking for one and looked at the offerings from Tentbox etc. Most of the big names just stick a logo onto products made in China, some may have a hand in a few design tweaks but very few actually make anything themselves. I ended up ordering a hard shell tent direct from the manufacturer in China which was a bit of gamble and fortunately it paid off. Its basically the Tentbox cargo with all the extras included and cost under £1350 delivered inclusive of any taxes where the equivalent Tentbox was £3000. I'm more than happy with what I have bought and if it wasn't for the logo you would have no idea that it wasn't a Tentbox. I got the Younghunter tent from China and i believe there is someone in the UK now acting as sole distributer for them but they are charging a good chunk more. Few videos on Youtube if you're interested.
The cover is made of the same stuff as a lorry tarpaulin, so pretty tough and easily patchable.Thought about a soft one, but where i will be going i don't want to risk it getting shredded.
very nice Iike the hardshell for two reasons. One I leave it on all the time so its better for driving and stays dry. 2 I leave the bed set up in ity when camping so its quick to set up after a long day...But each to his ownPersonally, I wouldn't go for a hard shell version.
