Wanted: Rough shoot syndicate, Worcestershire or nearby

Hi all,

I'm looking for any opportunity to join a small rough/walked up shoot within an hour or so of Worcester. I am currently a member of a syndicate and although it's enjoyable the shoot is evolving into a mostly driven bird shoot with beaters and less need/opportunity for guns to walk and work our dogs which is what I prefer.

More than happy to put in the work with feeding, maintenance etc. I have a pickup, a ton of relevant tools and kit, and a dog

Opportunity for off-season pigeon/vermin shooting, etc would be a bonus.

I wonder if we could get enough like minded people on here to form a syndicate to take this on as a proper rough / walked up shoot. I wonder what annual rent they would want? Would be a great opportunity for guns with dogs to exercise both interests.

Hello mate, I've only just seen your reply here... No joy really, I'm still in the same syndicate as before. It's enjoyable enough and better than having no shooting, it's just not what I'd really like. But then, nothing's perfect...

Hi Simon hope you are,well,I have decided I am flogging my rifle,243 and .22 My cert is due for renewal in a few months but now you have do have a docs examination cert,etc but I guess I have been thinking of giving it up for a while,,will post pics etc on hear at some point.

Sorry to hear you're thinking of giving it up, that's a shame but you need to make the right decision for you... I'll keep my ears open in case anyone local is looking for a rifle.

Well having looked at rifle sales and scopes available,,,even though now we have to pay £75 for a doc to tick a few boxes plus your 62 quid to the police .I am not going to give up Stalking not willing to give my stuff away,as it cost too much originally.
Will keep looking for a bit of ground..
