Hi A1962 I wouldn’t discount the howa in 204r I have had one for several years and it still makes me smile although I did after change the stock from the plastic one to a wooden one which transformed it

I have a custom Howa for sale at Bond and Bywater. Pacnor barrel with low round count (Neil McKillop), PSE carbon fibre stock, Rifle Basix trigger, mag conversion and a Drone Pro stainless rail for NV. For sale as I have given up my ticket.
