Rust

Yes, good rustproofing ain't cheap, cheap rust proofing ain't good. I was shocked to see the rust on low mileage 4X4's. One L200 with 36 miles was bleeding rust from the body and chassis seams.

Looked at an L200 before buying my D4 - it was in the showroom unregistered & never been on the road & there was rust breaking through the paint on the spot welds 😳

This is my 2004 D2 😃 - it got professionally treated with Dinitrol before it hit the UK roads.

If the structural areas were fixed they would give it a lot of years more. I seen a jacked up L200 rescued that was near the crusher last week.

2001, 36m L200. Dealer gave zero support and Mitsubishi UK said it was ""acceptable". Screenshot_20210618-231049_Samsung Internet.jpg

It depends on the vehicles size age and condition. RPA does from MX5's to 40' motorhomes, old and new. The cost of materials on mine was £450 and the prep and finish took 7-8 days of work, curing and finishing but was a fair price for a large vehicle.
DIY and blow overs have to be taken back to bare metal too.
This is a father and son business built on word of mouth and reputation.

OMG (Part 5) yet another post on Jap Trucks breaking//electrical’s/rust as a LR owner I was led to believe this never happened. Suggestion to the Administrator that he puts a new category on the Forums list “Jap Trucks Issues”
