Where`s the best place to go to (hopefully) photograph some Rutting Reds please? I know the nearest is Exmoor but where specifically.

Ashton Court, Bristol (country park) perhaps ?

Molland common is a good place to see/hear the rut, Dunkery beacon is good as is the road out of simonsbath towards span head, the deer are in the valley by the river Barle

I thought Ashton court only had Fallow.
Bagley on Dunkery hill Porlock or a little further up the road on Ley hill at the top above nutscale reservoir. Always red up there
