Just taken my wood stock off.

It is wood and so it is beautiful, but it has had a life. I do not have the skill or patience to bring it back to its former glory, and so I have swapped it out with this synthetic stock. Don't hate me...

Well done My 75 Hunter stock bought in 1995 was a work of beauty but I feared to damage it with my clumsy handling whilst stalking. After 20 years, I imported a synthetic stock from the US and got Mike Norris to shorten the barrel to 20” and re-crown it - I fell in love with the rifle again and it’s now my go to rifle for Muntjac and young roe.

You won’t regret it - although I shouldn’t perhaps tell you that Brock & Norris had several synthetic 75 stocks in when Mike did the works whilst I waited
