Sako TRG 22 scope mounting options

Evening all, I'm looking for some advice.

I have a Sako TRG 22 on order and have started looking at scope mounting.

I have come up with 2 options:

Option 1: Contessa SAKO TRG 42-22 Picatinny Rail - 20 MOA with Spuhr ISMS QDP-4002 34mm High or Med Quick Detach 0 MOA Picatinny Mount.

Option 2: Sako’s Own Picatinny 0 MOA Rail With Tier One QD Monomount – 34mm Med/High Long Saddle 6Mil/20M MOA.

I prefer the idea of applying the 20 moa correction using the rail and have a 0 moa mount. Possibly more straightforward? Do Picatinny rails vary in quality? Seems to me quite an easy part to manufacture. Are Contessa rails ok?

I recall there was a thread some time ago discussing a Canadian Picatinny rail maker but I can't recall the name of the company.

Anyway, I'd really like to hear peoples thoughts.

i ran a trg21 and a trg41 years ago (still think they are one of the best out of the box rifles available) initially with the sako mount then afterwards i changed to a 20moa pic rail and had the mounting screws tapped out larger as the originals were too small , the 22 may be better in this regard ?

Go for the Sphur mount. If you need to take the scope off get yourself a torque screwdriver, return to zero should be equal to a picatinny rail, the TRG’s use the Tikka 17mm dovetail and lug recesses in the top of the action.

Here’s mine;
